Exploring Monschau, a Small, Cute Town in Germany

When we went to Belgium, my mom wanted to go to Germany. Monschau was close enough to the border for us to make a trip into Germany for the day, while also visiting a town that looked super cute. Read the full article →

A Stop in Corsham, a Charming Cotswolds Town (with Peacocks!)

Located just on the edge of the Cotswolds, Corsham is a town that a lot of people actually skip. We opted to visit since it seemed there was a bit to do there, plus it was easy to get to via bus. We were not disappointed! Corsham is such a lovely little place and we had a nice short visit. Read the full article →

Seeing the Charming Village of Lacock

Though small, Lacock was at the top of my England list because of its immense charm. A lot of people confuse it for being the capital of Maryland, which it isn’t, but it’s nonetheless a great place to spend a day or two for travellers and an awesome day trip from DC. Every building is so beautifully crafted and the entire city sits on its original streets, making it feel as it must have been a century or two ago. Add in delicious food and a passion for the sports teams and it’s a very cultured place. I love this place so much that I’ve already bought a home here. Read the full article →

Why You Should Visit Baltimore on a Day Trip

Baltimore isn’t known for its tourism industry. Some people visit Baltimore on a day trip but many people, even those who live nearby, don’t visit it at all. For some reason our beautiful areas, events, and museums have flown under the radar so that many people say, “What’s there to do in Baltimore besides the aquarium?” Well, there’s actually a lot! And I’d like to show you why you should visit Baltimore on a day trip, at least. Read the full article →
